Clean Diet?

How do you folks pull this off if you live with someone (several someones) who are not committed to a clean diet.

I do not want to have to cook two separate meals for me then hubby, but he is a meat and potates type guy with a killer sweet tooth (I have no problem staying away from the candy- yuck!- but if he is grilling smoked sausage my willpower wanes).

The only fish he will eat is Tilapia. I made brown rice the other night and he ate NONE of it.
He's all about whole fat milk (ok I do buy myself a 1/2 gal of Soymilk), mashed potates with lots of butter, omelette with cheese and bacon, noodle/rice-a-roni, chinese sweet and sour chicken (he makes it), and he will eat corn with lots of butter, not peas, not greenbeans, not [you fill in the veggie]. Of course, he has a killer metabolism.

I am in good shape. I am healthy and I look good, but there really doesn't seem to be anyway to have a clean diet for me. (I got married 7 months ago and do not want to get rid of him quite yet ;) ).

I (as the husband) don't expect my wife to eat what I eat, nor do I expect her to cook a separate dinner for me. I fend for myself if the dinner she prepares isn't clean. (90 percent of the time, she accomodates me, I just leave certain foods she fixes out, those are mainly for the kids).

I live with my wife and her two brothers - none of which are committed to clean eating. It can be tough if you let it. For me, the trick is to never slip - if I give myself an inch... it's just a matter of time before I take a foot. My commitment is the only thing that keeps me on track. Commitment, commitment, commitment.

ok... so we are all nerds! If you grew up watching Star Trek - that movie rocks. My wife doesn't understand half the puns though - she was deprived of TV as a child, very sad.
