Hiya everyone, my name is Claire and i had been hovering around this forum for soooo long!
So as a "new years revolution", on January 1st i decided to do something about my weight. I was over 13 stone and at age 19 this wasn't good!
I didn't have high expectations for myself as i've been on so many diets and no gotten anywhere, but this time i stuck to it and have lost over 3 stone so far going from 13 stone 3lbs (185lbs) to 10 stone 2lbs (142lbs)!
Ideally i'd love to be in the 130lbs, but im just so happy to have reached my goal!
I really have found so much inspiration from many people on here, you have all achieved so much and thank you for helping me with my journey! :seeya:

Wow! You look fab! I was around the same start weight as you but I 've got stuck at 12 stone, you've totally inspired me to get my butt back in gear. Congratulations!

You look great! And I like the new haircut :)

What type of diet/exercise regime did you do?And how tall are you? 145 is my goal weight and I like to try to visualize what I might look like when I get there.

Thanks to all of you! It really means a great deal :)

I'm 5ft 7, and the usual really, i completely cut out all the rubbish which was previously in my dinner, like crisps, cake, chocolate etc and before i literally ate nooooo fruit and veg.
But from january, i have a slimfast shake for breakfast or cereal, then for lunch i will probably have a yoghurt, grapes, etc. Then i will have a healthy balanced meal for dinner, and sometimes i have supper which will be soup or weight watcher toast.
I drink sooo much water now, i never have fizzy and my skin has improved so much for it :)

I'm lucky to have a treadmill and exercise bike i at home, so to start of with i ran half a mile every other day and found that hard at the time! But i gradually increased it and now i'm running 4 miles, 5 times a week without stopping and i usually do 30mins on the bike every day. I seriously never thought i would be able to run far without stopping, but you definately suprise yourself if you stick at it!

Thank you all for the comments and good luck with your weight loss journeys :)
