Cla?

Has anyone ever heard of a pill with "CLA" (Conjugated Linoleic Acid)? They sell it at HEB and mi madre bought a bottle(she'll listen to anything a vitamin bottle tells her) and it is supposed to "reduce body fat" and " build lean body mass," and I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of it, knows anythign about it, or has tried it. Any info is appreciated.

My body does not respond at all to CLA. I know others who have used it who had no response to it as well.
