CLA does it work?

Is CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) worth buying and consumer. The health food store near me has Now CLA on sale. Month supply 15 dollars. Here is what it says about it:

CLA has been proven to be highly effective in reducing body fat and increasing muscle mass. And with most Americans consuming less than one gram from their diet per day. NOW CLa is a smart choice for anyone trying to burn fat and increase muscle.

Has anyone tried CLA and does it work?

I am not a big fan of CLA. I think that the documented negative affects of CLA supplementation outweighs its possible "small" benefits. Let there be more studies done on the subject before you decide to buy it.

Essentially, CLA is WAY over hyped.

There is no conclusive evidence CLA does anything of worth. However, Forslean, aka Forskalin, does have some research showing that it's worth a shot.

To be honest you'd be far better off spending that $15/month on fruit, protein powder or a new T-shirt for the gym.
never bother getting in to that sort of suppliment untill your diet and training has been perfect for a year or so.
