chubby / blown up cheeks

hey, im a 21 year old and i have a few questions. all of a sudden recently i have noticed, along with others that my face has gotten fatter....it looks like my cheek area or whatever has fattened up and got chubby looking so now my face looks fat. like about 4 years ago i had actual shape to my face and maybe thats because i kept my body in shape. im naturally skinny body and i can eat tons of food without gaining anything. i was wondering how i can trim my face and i guess tighten it especially in the cheek region. do i need to run to fix this problem or do i need to work out something in perticular? i just dont know what to do in order to loose my chubby cheek area and the fat under my chin. any help would be so greatful because ive been trying to figure out how to solve this problem for so long now!

unfortunately, if you are aiming to lose fat in a given area of your body (aka spot reducing), your efforts would just frustrate you. you can't reduce a certain area of fatby working out a specific area. a good example is doing alot of situps doesn't really make your stomach reduce fat (though when you are fat and you do alot of situps, once you get thin (overall), the layer of fat (adipose tissue) would be lost thus revealing a defined abdomen. You have to lose weight over all. please see other articles regarding "spot reducing" for further reading. i hope this helps! good luck!

hey

thanks for the response...so what do you recommend doing? i know that i cannot just thin my face out and thats all...but like what kind of work out do you recommend? should i just start running? you think if a ran a good amount it would thin out those areas?

You lose fat in proportion all over your body. If you lose overall fat, the chubbiness of your face should diminish over time also.

The general answer is, 30-60 minutes of cardio 5-6 days a week, strength training 3-4 days a week, eat clean and watch caloric intake. If you wish, I can go into more detail.

and always remember to work your way up and let your body settle in. i remember the first time i did cardio and i got burned out because i was just a beginner then. i wroked my up to 40 mins cardio and 30 mins HIIT (interval and not in one day)
