Christmas & The Holiday Period

This is stepping on the toes of maime's thread a little, but how is everyone planning to cope with the festive season ahead?

It's one thing coping with day to day temptations, but when temptation comes giftwrapped or served on a plate with extra helpings of succulent turkey, how the heck will everyone be mustering the willpower to resist?

I honestly don't know how I will do it - 1 day at a time seems the best option. Any suggestions?
 
Well, I know I'm working on the holidays so I don't have to deal with it but if I did I would say drink lots of water and eat a little something before you go. Also, talk to everyone there and remember it's about your family not the food!

Awwww sorry about woking on the holiday yuck!
I say go for the booze lol drinking makes me full but
I am planning to eat 1 day and I am not taking any
leftovers home this year maybe a small something for kids
but lastyear I I was given pies cakes cookies plus yhe food
we ate geeesh last a week! Tammy
 
Eat something like fruit before the big meals to make you a bit full. Eat small portions. Always keep your weight on your mind, and ask yourself is it really worth it.
