Chest pain during ab trunk twists?

Whenever I do trunk twists (feet planted on floor, knees bent, rotating my torso from side to side) my chest will start to hurt after like 30 seconds of doing them. It feels like a sharp pain in the left side of my chest every time I try to breathe. I've had pneumonia several times along with pleuresy (feels a lot like the pleuresy did).

Would either of these have anything to do with the pain in my chest while I do these? Or does anyone else ever experience this?

Since you have previous health conditions, I would first consult your doctor. In a 'nut shell' aka broad generalization, "sharp pain" is never a good thing.

How long does it take for pain to go away? Is it in the upper/mid/lower part of your torso? I know w/ that exercise for some people it's difficult to breath, so are you breathing enough? If you happen to work at a club and they have trainers, grab one of them and see if they can just watch you for a second and see if they notice anything on form/breathing.
