So I just got off work, eating a salad, then headed to the gym. I bought a book at the store last night so that will be my reward for working out, sitting by the pool reading a book.

I am pretty random so my entries are going to be short and sweet randomly through out the day.
 
Going on day two.

So I am heading to the gym in five minutes so i thought I would write a quickie. Yesterday went pretty well considering I tried sushi and did not care for what I got. Which in turn made me resort to two fresco style tacos a Taco Bell for dinner. (no cheese or sour cream) Had a cookie and a half when i was a friends house which I was not too mad at myself for because I was still within my calories for the day.

Well off to the gym.

PS anyone know how to get your arms in shape and no look disgusting anymore?
 
Hi, a number of people on the board say that you cannot build muscle while on a diet (i.e. buildup you arms) and this does make sence. For me however, I have found that I have built some muscle and lost weight at the same time. Therefore I have managed to build my arms up a bit which makes me feel better as they did look rather small. Now when I say I have built them up, I am not talking big by any means, but at least you can see them now. I suspect that I will not be able to build them much as I am dieting, but certainy worth doing it though and see if it works for you.
One of the things I have learned on here is that you need to do low reps (i.e. 5-10) with quite a big weight. I tend to do about 5 sets (i.e. 5-10 reps repeated 5 times).
May not work for everyone, but seemed to make a difference to me, so worth a try.

Day 3

Got so much done today. Drove back from Huntsville, worked out for two hours, cleaned for three hours, and sat by the pool for one. Life is pretty good right now. I'm kinda hungry. Maybe I should eat something.

nice to have some time to sit by the pool - sounds like you' earned it today :) you've definitely earned a good meal - enjoy :D
 
Long time. Sorry.

So it has been a while since I have been on here, a week after I started on here, I fell off track. Then summer school started and I got way back on and have dropped at least 15 pounds and working out at least 5 days a week.

I will write more tonight hopefully, I have to go to work. This forum really does help.
 
Can't believe I have made it this far.

Its 2 in the morning and I an idiot and picked up a 5AM shift to stock and get stuff done around my work.

But beside that I have lost a total of 22 pounds. I cant believe it! I am fitting into things I haven't in a long time. I want to lose a total of 40-50 before school starts up again. Summer is half way over so maybe I can. Who knows. I just have to start kicking my ass again like I did in the beginning.

And once again sorry I don't write often. I just don't get a lot of time, or I totally forget. My bad.
