Cellulite and Stretch Marks

Will working out/losing weight decrease the appearance of cellulite and/or stretch marks? I gained about 35 pounds in a year and a half, and am looking to lose the weight and then some. I have cellullite on my thighs, stomach, butt and some on my arms  Will this go away with weight loss? I think that's the part I'm most upset about!!! I hate cellulite!

ive heard that there nothing females can do about cellulite and chances are you just going to have to live with it. sorry about that. but i think if you lost weight it might help the stretch marks somewhat

Toning your muscles and losing weight will smooth out the appearance of your legs so the cellulite is less noticeable, but it will always be there. Stretch marks are permanent too, but mine have always faded so they're really only noticeable to me, or if someone wants to get REEALLY close up! :D

Cellulite is FAT. When my bf drops below 17% it goes away completely but it differs from person to person.

I hate it. My bf is 21% now and I can't wait for it to go down so that my legs look smoother.

Thanks for all the comments/advice - my body isn't like some mold made out of cottage cheese, but i can definitely notice small dimples of cellulite on a lot of my body. I'm hoping that with working out and toning up, that most of this goes away. I just wasn't sure how much it would help, or if I'd need some sort of cream to reduce the visibility. Thanks for your help! :)

hm. I lost the cellulite on my thighs after losing 32 pounds and running several marathons and tons of Yoga. I guess there is not enough fat left on my thighs. When I am not on running training ,though, my skin doesn't like as smooth as in summer (that's when I am on training).
So it can go away or become significantly less noticable.
I am just looking forward to summer, hehe

Good luck
