Has anyone heard about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for helping of children with anxiety? It is shown by recent studies that CBT is not just for the helping kids in managing their emotions, but it actually helps in altering brain activity, a process which creates lasting improvements in emotional regulation and in resilience.
Whereas, Therapists help kids build coping skills with structured exercises and calming their nervous systems. It’s a positive shift toward long-term resilience over medication reliance.
