cartilage deterioration

Does constant weight-bearing exercise cause premature joint damage? I want to stay fit, but am afraid of how my knees will be 20 years from now. I'm on a treadmill now and have been for over 20 years. Would switching to an elliptical machine save my knees? What about glucosamine? How much exercise is getting to the point where it damages your bones instead of strengthening them?

carlson's very finest fish oil.
joint mobility exercises.

my chiro prescribed some glucosamine chondritin for me when i tore the cartilage in my knees while playing football. its to repair your cartilage, very slowly.

i have a neighbor who is 70something and he still jogs outside all the time, doesnt seem to have any problems with his knees. just be careful and if you are going to exercise, make sure your form is correct.

I believe in prevention or prehabilitation rather than rehabilitation. As such I love my Zyflamend, glucosamine, and hyaluronic acid.

I think cartilage wears regardless over age. Weight bearing exercises may to some extent wear them down a bit faster, but the benefits of weight bearing exercise greatly outweighs the downsides of not engaging in weight bearing exercises.

I think running on concrete and such surfaces will wear the patellas down faster than anything else. Swimming is fantastic.

How long before glucosamine does any repair? I've been taking it for quite awhile now.

I've never heard of Zyflamend, what is it? And what is hyaluronic acid used for?

I had the same dam thing. My knees and hips were really bad at one time and Im only 28. Ive been lifting for 10 years now. I started taking MonaVie about three weeks ago. A little background on it. The Aronia Berry and Passion Fruit is shown to help Inflammation. On top of that berry, you have Acai and Bilberry that are shown to help the joints. the antioxidant berrys are Acai, Cranberry, Prune, Pomegratnate, white grape, and the Aronia Berrry. That is a little background of MonaVie. That doesnt even touch the facts that surround Depression, Diabetes, and heart disease. If your interested yourself visit my site below. All I can say is that I feel great while drinking this. I know not everyone feels the effects of it. Im just glad it worked for me otherwise id still be in a lot of pain.
