Cardio

helloo.

Im 17 stone and lift heavy while I am at the gym. I have quite a bit of fat I want to loose some of it before I carry on gaining muscle. I go to the gym 4x a week and I am thinking off doing 3000 meters on the rowing machine each time I go and cut out so much weight lifting but every time I go just do a few sets to maintain the muscle I have now.

Would you say 3000 meters 4x a week would help loose weight? I will be having 3 propper meals a day aswell which helps me not snack :)

Thanks for reading~

Don't cut out weight lifting, just include rowing as well. Don't go with metres, go with calories when you program the rowing machine

Have to agree with the previous poster to add rowing, rather than replace other parts of your workout with it. If you are time constrained, you may want to see if you can do other cardio in a time-efficient way, such as run or bicycle to the gym, run or bicycle to work or school, etc..

For the calorie thing you can flick back and two to check calories burnt/meters done so that aint a problem :) (think it comes up on same screen actually).

I do ALOT of bike trials/ bike riding anyway so I do alot of cardio. Must be truthly but I havn't been into the biking so much but slowly getting back into bike trials :) (Push bike)
