Cardio Question

Benefit is knocking some calories off, but it is not necessary at all. It would help you to be lean.

If you're starting out, combining cardio with lifting increases the amount of fat burned. This diminishes in a short space of time which is why people are often working through stages of either 'bulking' or 'cutting'.

You can still do both though - one helps build strength, the other lung and heart efficiency and endurance. S'all good, but it depends on what your are aiming for.

your muscles need blood and oxygen pumped to them, the heart and lungs do this,so exercisibg them is going to be of benefit.
there is also a theory that the fitter you are the better your body becomes at partitioning food.

thanks for the replies ive been thinking of doing about doing 15 minutes of cardio after weight training. ive been working out over a year but not as i should...
