carbs for a start

as well as general healthy eating and excercise, would eating carbs for breakfast help to speed up weight loss or does it make no difference.
I have started eating my wheat free rye and sunflower bread for breakfast but then i avoid heavy carbs (rice, bread and pasta) for the rest of the day.
i eat alot of different beans though, are these classed as carb and protein rich? will this morning only carbs help speed up weight loss?

also, do any diet pills work? is there anything that combined with s good diet and excercise that i can do to help speed up weight loss?

thanks in advance x

What are your current stats?

The addition of carbs shouldn't affect the speed in which weight is lost -though a high fiber cereal - will make you feel fuller and fiber, especially if you've not beein getting enough, helps to keep your intestines clean... :D

Beans are both carbs, lots of fiber and lots of protein... if you're going with canned - they also can pack a lot of sodium - which can add to some water weight gain.

Common sense time - if diet pills worked - would anyone be fat?
Every diet pill says it works in conjunction with diet and exercise - guess what -diet and exercise work without the pills.

Why the rush?

thanks for that.

i am 5ft 7 and weigh 9stone 10lbs, im quite broad anyway with a 34e bust so its kinda hard for me to loose weight! i just feel i need some extra off. i am aiming for 9stone.
the rush is.....well impaitence, and its not really a rush its just that for the past month i haven't shifted any more weight! grrrrr.
i walk my dog for an hour a day and an extra hour with walking to work etc.
im trying to bump up the excercise and start power walking hopefully one day jogging, but i dont think im fit enough for that yet! i cant afford a gym and dont have the time as my dog takes up most of my spare time!
im just looking to see if there is any eating plan that will help kick start the weight loss again!

There's really no magic eating plan that takes the weight off - it's just eating reasonable amounts of calories and my personal belief is avoiding as much processed stuff as possible (lean not cuisne might say it's a diet meal but it's got far too many chemicals for me to consider it healthy)

Make sure you track everything you put into your mouth and adjust calories accordingly if you're not getting results.. but you're better off starting at a high a level as possible - so you do have room to adjust..

is it a resonable weight to want to be? at 5ft 7 i want to be 9stone and i am failry broad anyway! im just not sure if its realistic or not!!!!

9 stone = about 130lbs - for 5'7 - that seems very slim -

Do you carry most of your weight in your bust area? A 34E doesnt make you a member of th IBTC - (I'm a DD myself so i can relate) But I also have 60lbs and 5 inches on you..

How proportioned are you?

well like i say, im a 34E bust, 27 inch waist ( around the small bit just above my navel) and about 40inch around my hips!
i dont tend to carry much weight on my waist (except for a little beer belly which i have worked very hard on getting).
