Can't lose any weight past 160lb... getting very annoying

So I started working really hard to get in shape a few months ago. I am 5'8 and was 180lb and now I'm 160lb (have been for awhile now) by changing my eating habits and excerising everyday.

Problem is, I cannot get past 160. I am trying to lose 10 more pounds but I cannot lose even one. As of right now, I watch what I eat and I run tredmill for 2.5 miles a day at 6mph. I also do about 60 crunches a day and do minor weightlifting. I do this routine 5-6 days a week, like clockwork, I never go under 5 days a week and it has been like this for the past 3 weeks now.

So with this routine for 3 weeks, I haven't been able to go below 160.

What am I doing wrong? Do I actually have to increase my workout and eat even less just to lose another 10 pounds?

What exactly do you mean by 'eating healthy'. Everyone seems to have such warped ideas of what eating healthy is. Could be you are eating healthy foods but still to many of them. Or there could be one food that possibly isnt as healthy as you think.

Has there beena change in measurements?

and as wishes says -just because you say you're watching what you eat -unless you're weighing, measuring, and recording everything that you put in your mouth -you could very well be eating at maintenance.

What do you mean by minor weight lifting and what do you think the crunches are doing for you?

This worked for me

I don't know if this helps but I concentrated on eating smaller portions. Of course I chose what made sense to eat but mainly I would just eat until I felt adequate (which was 1/2 of what I was eating before) and wouldn't drink any carbonated drinks. Also, I would change up my cardio.
(1) Sometimes I would run 1.5 miles and walk at an incline to 13 for the additional time to 30 minutes
(2)I would use the stepper at a level 6 for 15 minutes twice (before my wieght lifting and after)
(3) I would also attend the aerobic classes

I started at 180lbs and now I am 133lbs, however I am 5'3. I also hit what I have heard to be a plateau at 160.

Hang in there, you can do it. Maybe you just need to change routine because I have heard your body can become accustomed.

I am not an expert or claim to know anything as a fact, however this is what worked for me.
