So the older pics were taken 2 weeks into my weight loss program and the newer pics were taken 2 weeks after that (the day of my first monthly update). Can you tell a difference yet? I am waiting till my monthly update on January 4 before I take more pics (scared I didn't do as good during the holidays as I wanted)

Yea, sorry hun, but I have to agree w/ the above statment. Give it another month or two then do a comparison.

I am shocked that you guys can't see a difference. I can very easily tell in the pics that I have lost (I can't tell it on my actual body but in the pics it seems quite obvious). Well I guess it just re-emphasises that I still look very fat since not a single person I know has noticed anything yet. (and I started losing weight nearly 2 months ago)

I change my body like a transformer and people don't say shit to me.

Don't rely on others to give you the feeling of satisfaction. It has to come from within.

Well, thats true too Steve. It really doesn't matter what people say, what you feel about yourself is MOST important!

You have lost 10 pounds, right?

If so, ten pounds isn't usually very noticeable on someone, it's usually when you lose 20 and up people start to notice. I'm saying this from prior experience.

You know your body best and therefore you are seeing and feeling changes. Give it a little more time before others notice. I know it's so frustrating but, stick at it because it's so worth it. Try not to be discouraged. Hang in there.

I see a slight difference on the straight on. You can see your hourglass shape better in the second.

But 10lbs is not as noticable as you might think. It took a friggin haircut, and 25lbs before peopel started to comment with me. :D Keep it up though! You will totally be able to tell after you are down to about 135.

Another thing.. It was weird but I was down to about 195 from 215 and my face and body still looked "fat". When I gained weight back in the summer I didn't look as fat as I did when I was starting. It takes time sweetie. But when it starts it wont stop, and it goes REAL fast.

thanks guys, it's just really dissapointing when no one can see it, specially in instances like this where people are looking for it and can't see it.

Just keep fighting it.

This journey is full of highs and lows. But, you know it's going to be SOOOOOOOO worth it in the end.

Post pics when you have lost 20 and I'm sure we will notice a difference.

funnier than what I was going to say, but give it some time and keep up the good work!

I also noticed a slight difference in the straight on photo more than the others. But, keep it up. Show us more pictures when you lose more.

thanks guys. I don't think I lost really over christmas (hoping I lost a few pounds but would settle for not gaining) but maybe by the end of february (I am on vacation for a week in january so that won't be great for weightloss either)

i feel that its really important that a person not look to others for approval because then when you are disappointed in what another says/feels you may set yourself up to go off your eating/exercise plan. so as long as your clothes feel better and you see a difference and feel good about yourself, then you are doing awesome.

also, weight loss can be seen not only in the midsection, but in the face/arms/legs/butt/hands/toes/ears (hehe)etc....so its hard to see 10 pounds when you arent looking at the whole picture.....

you look great...so keep up the good work!!!

I tend to look at things in percentages... while 10lbs is a big chunk of weight - it's not even 1 percent of your total original weight... real noticable changes tend to show up around the 10 percent mark..

but if you can see changes... or measurements changes... then who cares what others think...

well I can only see it from the pics. I can't see it on my body. I fit a few of my clothes better but not great yet.
I have to get my butt in gear to be bikini ready by summer.

OK well Im in calculous right now and how do you find its not even 1 percent of her original weight? 10 pounds is more then 1 percent of her beginning weight.

yea hun i didnt see a difference i wait more than a month to see my reults i cant do it to soon cause if i do and theres nothing changing ill be upset and give up...

its soon to tell so just keep at it and im sure in a month or 2 you will see results and that will give you even much more motivation to keep on losing:)
