Hi WLF experts

Im sorry if this seems like a dumb question or if its been asked before but I have always been a calorie counter/excerciser as my means of weightloss and Its only since joining this forum ive seen people talk about upping the cals for weightloss, I dont get this, I have always been led to beleive eating the set amount of cals under what you need/use ensures weightloss? how can eating more make you loose weight, If eating less isnt?

Your body needs food all day long, small portions every 3-4 hours. If you deprive it of anything it will store all that it gets, thinking that it may be a while before it gets any more. Like drinking water. The more you drink the less you store.

By giving your body all it needs for food, fat, protien, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals, it will stop storing everything because it knows that there is going to be more on the way soon. Don't go crazy and eat 5000 clories per day, but don't starve yourself either. I have a hard time eating all of the food required for the program that I am on. But I keep on dropping the lbs.

Good luck!!

Dennis
