Can powdered protein go bad?

sorry for the stupid question. but i bought some whey protein stuff about a year ago,maybe longer? i dont really know. but anyways will i still have the same benefit as compared to having a fresh batch i guess you can say?
 
It should still be good. Given its been in an air tight container. Did you happen to check the date on the container?

Even so, i would buy new. Its not that expensive.
Besides, list the ingredients i bet we can find a reason quickly for you to buy new.

Thats what I have been looking for, the product seems cool. You can get a cheap bulk amount of protein and add vitamins + minerals, whatever. But I dont know if I would trust them after looking at some of the odd choices they have lol. They dont have it anywhere on the site so they gotta be hiding something.
 
that website i posted. ive ordered before. they ship fast and are a good company. they dont ship it in a plastic container though. it comes in a cardboard box lol and inside its a giant clear bag with protein in it. you have to pay extra for the container lol. and the ingredients to the protein mix i bought is at the bottom if thats what you are asking?

so basically then. whatever protein stuff i had left from last year. should be totally fine then?

No, the ingredients. That which the product is made from. The base ingredients that form the product. If it does not contain that info on the label or possibly the original box it came in then DO NOT EAT IT!!!
 
lol i didnt get a sell by date. reason its cheap because they ship you a thick plastic bag with the protein in it. btw if you guys do decide to try it out. mixing the chocoloate/vanilla flavor packs taste like cookies n cream lol..just throwin that out there
 
I have sent 7 emails, and got 7 emails back with the exact same answer. They keep giving me the info thats on the page but not the info I want lol.
 
I like ON's extream choc. Tastes really good.

I just ordered some Nitrean from atlargenutrition, been hearing good things about it.
