Calve Soreness Won't Let Me Walk

Wednesday I worked out my calves, maybe didn't stretch. I did weighted calf raises and I definitely did a lot more weight than I should have. Anyway, that night everythings fine. I go play basketball, I walk around, everythings fine. Thursday morning I wake up with soreness in my calves, but still fully functional after a second or two to adjust to the pain. Then Thursday night comes, I get out of my car and I can't even walk without being on my tippy toes. WTF? I wake up Friday with soreness still in my calves, but now it feels like the tendon behind the knee is sore too. When sitting down I can have my feet flat on the floor no problem, when I try to stand, my body naturally goes on its tippy toes because I can't put my foot flat on the ground due to the pain. I woke up this morning and it was almost the exact same, maybe a little less sore. If I had pulled something or strained something, wouldn't I have felt it right away? And what can I do besides attempting to stretch it out to speed up the soreness process?

oh....thanks lol. glad to know its normal. its embaressing in public limping around on my toes like an asshole but its relieving to know i just never worked out my calves before. i was always anti-legs. strictly upper body. this was the first time doing calf raises and i put up 400lb. didnt seem too hard at the time. im paying for it ten fold now. :yelrotflmao:
