Calories in = Calories out

 I love to work out, but usually I burn about 300 calories on the tredmill or the Precor Machine. Does this mean that I can only eat 300 calories a day. It doesn't make sense to burn more than you consume.

Someone please explain...

your burning calories all the time, beating your heart, using your lungs, digesting food, walking, typing on a keyboard etc etc.

The average calories used for a women is 2000 per day, and 2500 per day for men. So add 300 to this score to get a rough idea of how many calories your burning. It would be best to get a more accurate calculation on how many calories you use a day. Try but there's probably some better ones out there.

Thank you for the info. I eat about 1000 to 1500 calories a day for years. I guess that's why I am stuck at this weight for over 5 years now. I can't complain about 112, but I do wish I could be a little more toned up. It seems like I do bulk up lifting weights though instead of looking muscular. Any suggestions? :)
