I run 4.0 on the threadmill for 20mins trying to improve my cardio. When I started my HR would go up to 180 now its down to 140. However, running outdoors is entirely different and I would run out of breath in a matter of minutes. I'm thinking about doing 5.0 for 10mins from now on to do some real running.
At the same time, my BMR is around 2900 and I eat a calorie deficit of 1000. So If I eat 1900 calories and I exercise making me lose 400 calories...would that mean my entire calorie intake FOR THE DAY is 1500? Or do i not add the amount of calories i lost during the exercise?
Answers would help I'm confused...
