Calcium may increase the amount of fat your body uses for fuel

In doing research for a project I was working on awhile back, I found the info below. Following it won't produce a noticeable drastic reduction in weight, yet I believe will help shed the pounds much quicker overall. You may want to add calcium to your plan if you haven't already!

"Recent studies have indicated that individuals who consumed more calcium used more fat as fuel compared to those with lower calcium intakes.

When obese men were placed on high-calcium diets, they lost significant amounts of body fat even though their calorie intake remained the same.

Its been shown that higher calcium intake may alter the metabolism of fat cells, causing less fat to be stored and more fat to be released.

The average American typically consumes only 600- 700 milligrams of calcium per day, and many are well below that level. The current RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) is 1,000 milligrams a day (this RDA is a little higher for adolescents, young adults, and pregnant or lactating women).

Consider taking 600-1200 mg. Calcium in liquid softgel form DAILY (at the END of a meal for highest utilization and absorption!)."
