Quick and to the point.

As most of us know, caffeine is considered a drug. I want to know if it will have any impact on weight loss and diet.

Just to note: I never was a coffee drinker and since I stopped drinking soda and hardly eat chocolate, So I barely consumed it. I just want to know because I am curious

Coffee and tea in moderate amounts are good for you. Don't sweat it.

Yeah, I've done research and heard of that too. But I guess you are right, I won't sweat it. I don't the idea of my body being dependent on any substance (except water, i'm guilty of that :p)

I'm told it's good for weight loss, concentration and energy, but I was finding it killing my concentration, I was needing a nap a few hours after taking it, not being able to sleep at night and some mild headaches...

I stopped drinking soda about three weeks ago, and for the first week or so, I would find myself wanting to take a nap around 10 or 11 in the morning and then again around three or four. That feeling has finally stopped and I think my body is use to not having it in me. I'm scared to even think about having caffine and what it will do to me now.

I heard that anything in moderate amount is good for you.Caffeine can be taken once in a day or maybe two(the extreme case).Never over drink it.It is very harmful if it is taken in huge quantities

Admittingly, I drink coffee all day, and everyday(I have to strap a fricken bathroom on my back, LOL. because caffiene is a MILD dirutic--it can make one piss alot, and pissing alot is NOT an idication your getting enough water).

It hasnt effected me in any negative manner in my weight loss program that I created for myself. I can not say for absolute certainty that it wont others, as other people may be affected by the effects of caffiene in a different manner and may be more sensative--will they also be effected if trying to lose weight, I would probably say, I doubt it. I say doubt it, because after all the smoke clears, only ONE THING MATTERS, and that is the law of energy (CALORIE) balance on normal healthy individuals.
