butter -- alternatives

There are lots of options, too. A replacement for butter in what?

For lubricating a pan, I always use PAM instead of butter.

For my bread, I use peanut butter or "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"

For cooking, I use virgin olive oil
 
they also make 'butter buds' which is a low fat low carb powder that tastes like butter.

You can spritz something with Pam, and then toss butter buds on it, and it'll taste right and have a more correct texture/liquid feel.
