They use this software Nutricate - Helping Society Eat Healthier One Person At A Time
Now why cant McDonalds and similar places use that? its totally cool! even if they are calorie laden burgers

Some fast food places like Burger King (or was it Wendy's?) have started putting the caloric info of the particular burger you get on the back of the little cardboard box it comes in.

Don't ask me how I know this though :blush5:

Yeah McDonalds here in the UK has full nutritional information on the packaging for each product, even the fries....I think they sometimes have a full detailed nutrition sheet for their entire menu on the back of those sheets of paper they put on the tray when you eat in....

But then again we do have socialized healthcare, so the government has more of a vested interest in mandating that this kind of info is easy to access....

I like the name Burgerville. It reminds me of the SNL skits with Justin Timberlake...

Bring it on down to Burgerville!

B'ville rocks

The restuarants are only in the Pacific Northwest, places like Portland. The food is local and sustainable, blah, blah, blah...but that's not why I used to go there. (Waffle fries, anyone?) Since moving to the East Coast, I’ve planned team meetings back home just to get a BV burger! THey do a lot of seasonal stuff too. I Miss that place!

Hmm....over here you can just look up nutritional info on their websites, and there are little booklets with all that info in the branch as well. Saw it at McD, BurgerKing, Subways and a few other fast food places. Don't they do that in the States as well?

Ah, cool, was just curious since it seems to be handled differently in different countries.

Just wonder what point there is in printing the nutritional value on the receipt? Surely once you bought it it's too late - you wouldn't throw 10 quid worth of food in the bin because you see the amount of calories on the receipt?! *lol*

I guess it's good to know for next time lol.

Most people do not ask for the nutritional booklet or even search on the net, so I guess it is a way of "ensuring" that consumers know some nutritional value of the food they're eating. Nevermind the people who do not even look at their receipts :p
