Bulking Weight Question

About how many pounds should i gain in one month if im bulking now. I weigh 117 and in 5'6 if that helps.. i look in the mirror often looking for results but dont see alot, ive been bulking for about a week now so by a month should i gain about say...4lbs?5lbs? Thanks

Actually i believe it's 1-2 pounds a week that you can gain, not a month. However, it takes great dedication and strict dieting for that to happen.

Anymore then 3 pounds in a month your probably adding extra fat. Just think if you add 2 pounds a month for a year, thats 24 pounds of lean muscle.

Go to T-nation.com and read the "Truth about Bulking" Article.

Either way, at that weight a little extra fat wouldn't hurt anyway. I think 2 pounds of muscle a month is achievable

2 Pounds sound very little...that's like 1 kilogram (well 2.2 pounds is...)

The 300 got a whole heap of muscle in 2 months training, so I pose the question of how they managed that?

Anyway, what is a volume of 1 pound of muscle?

the 300 got cut up,so they looked like they gained a lot.
they also had
plenty of money for
best supps "all sorts"
best food
best dieticians
best personal trainers
best equipment.

No, It is completely impossible to gain 1-2 pounds a Week of muscle.

Maybe if you're a real noobie, you could do 1 pound a week. Just one. And it wouldn't all be muscle. You CAN gain 1 pound a week of bodyweight. Take your time. Even if you only gain 1 pound of muscle a MONTH, that's TWELVE pounds of PURE MUSCLE in a year. Trust me, a year goes REAL FAST.
