Bulk...Cardio den bulk?

right, i would say i am startin 2 get some ok resultsfrom gym, butam in teh stage were am in the middle, if i do lots of cardio i mite loose some muscle and be more ripped, then wen i become ripped bulk up slowly keeping the ripness....

or, loose the cardio for now, eat the right bulk up foods, hammer the weights and gym and wen i reach a weight goal, do cardio burn off all the fat but still hammer the gym?

Do what ever you want, you sound like you pretty much know the score. just weigh up what you want more. But you should still do some CV work after weight training to flush away the lactic acid in your muscles. Try doing a 5min warm up on any machine eg treadmill, then go flat out at a very fast pace untill you have to stop, then go down to a fast walk untill you can do it again. do this for no more than 15mins+warm up+cool down (3-5mins) = 25mins CVwork.

If ive bin working shoulders, i'll work the speed ball and punch bag, We got climbing wall so i'll use that to if Ive bin training my back.

If you got a heart rate moniter, try going to 180-200 for as long as pos, then to 150, soon as you get to 150 start fast again. the quicker your heart comes down, the fitter you are.

Those numbers are bases on a 20yr old with poor-average fitness.

You need to keep in mind that it's almost impossible to be ripped whilst bulking up as you can't gain muscle mass without a calorie surplus, thus you will gain fat as well as muscle. And you shouldn't be losing muscle from cardio either

thank youi for your views, i think iam going to pic the cardio work out, and wen am happy with ripness, start to bulk up slowly and steady but maining the ripness.

i'll try that treadmill routine you gave mke nad will post feed back on how am doing in a few weeks, thanks 4 ur help :)

Cool, there is no reason not to do weight training as well. Even if your goal is not to bulk up just yet, The weight training will get your body ready and strong, so when you do want to bulk up it will be easyer and you'll get bigger much fast. Plus, less risk of hurting yourself.

If you write out a basic workout format, ppl here will have a look at it for you.

ummmmmmm what?

A combination of both - continue the intense cardio workouts along with weight training........if you have the time that is. Looking ripped comes from muscle mass combined with low body fat. Therefore, you definitely cannot stop weight training but must continue the aerobic workout to keep your body fat low. If you are starting with low body fat but little muscle mass, you must build mass and gain weight then cut up with increased cardio.
