Buddies wanted

Hi all .. I am a newbie to this site .. need some serious motivation !

On and off with weight loss and weight gain .. it is a pain in the behind and it would be great to have buddies to keep me going and to keep me in check !

My biggest hurdle is being motivated and sticking to my plan. I am pretty good with food and exercise but I slide on and off the exercise plan.

So I figure this might help ... I am 5 ft 1 inch and weigh 64/65 kgs - 141 pounds .. i am a female hahaha that might help - am stocky build by nature - medium size and have always been on the muscular side .. oh and of asian origin and living in Asia region

My diet varies - mainly vegetable and salads but some carbs obviously like rice and noodles and some meat mainly chicken and seafood ... I have inherited genes that are not atypically of the Asian variety ie. petite and slim !

As for exercise, I have a ten km run planned in September - SIX WEEKS away .. i was onto a good plan and then got lazy .. fitness is not really an issue ... but weight loss is !! I run at least 3 km every couple of days and will up this over the next couple weeks leading up to the 10 km run ..

HELP ?

I know I have to want to do and I know I have to do this .. but it would be good to know others out there have the same pickle of a situation .. I guess I am sick of weight roller coasting ...

I don't know why nobody's welcomed you, so Welcome! Tell me, why is there a "thumbs Down" icon on your post?

Good luck with the run and the weight loss, as active as you are if you were to add a bit of weight training to your runs along with watching your diet, I can't see how you could help but lose weight.

Keep us posted and start a diary, it's a great way to track your progress and have others help you along too!

A halt on my training due to work and due to some other dramas ... but hopefully back on track .. 5 weeks to 10 k run .. yikes ..

I think its my diet thats stopping the weight loss .. I think I have change it to v small portions and maybe more little meals .. and of the healthy variety ..

only 5 weeks .. i know i can be strict if i want to right ??

I think living where I am and being of asian origin .. a lot of pressure to be slim and small .. it isnt me ... I try not to be bothered .. but when I cant find clothes that fit me .. hahahah its a drama or when i have to opt for XXXL asian size ...

I cant seem to be motivated enough .. I have the diary, I have the planner, I even have a support network, I dont binge .. I am jst plain lazy at times ... I jst need to get down 5 kgs first ...
