Hello all. My name is Brittany. I'm 24 years old. At the current moment, I am in between jobs but will most likely be starting back as a Dental Assistant this week
I have my theories/reasons for being overweight. I don't consider them 'excuses,' just reasons why. 1 reason is that for the past few years I have been managing a dental practice which involves a whole lot of sitting behind a desk. Also, I have PCOS-Polycystic Ovarian Disease/Syndrome which affects multiple things, including causing obesity. Another thing it does it converts things differently making me exhausted after not doing a whole lot that day. Luckily, it hasn't been as bad lately.
I'm 5'5, and right now I weigh 250lbs. My goal weight is between 130-150(I've got a medium frame). In high school I ranged between 155-175 as I was very active then in Cheerleading. After graduating high school, I moved 2 hours away into West Palm Beach, FL. I was on Depo Provera at that time for birth control, and used fast food as convenience because we(my boyfriend at the time and I) were both working full time and going to school full time. I gained around 50 pounds then. Now its just steadily creeped a little higher over time.
Right now I don't any type of exercise or diet routine made. I am going to ween myself off of soda (I have a Pepsi addiction lol) until not drinking it at all. I would really like to get a pair of roller blades and do some exercising with that.
I will update this as often as I can, and update with pictures every 3 weeks. Pictures now will come soon.
