Body Fat %!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 175lbs and I am 18 yrs old at 6"0. I run currently 7 days a week 5km runs and weightlift aswel on 3 of thoughs days for 1 hr. I do 3x10 on everything for the extra cardio. I'm eating really healthy lately and I'm consumeing around 2000 calories per day IF that. I'm doin this because I wanna cut down this body fat ASAP. I have about another 3 weeks and I wanna loose probably around 6-8lbs more. I have a bit of pudge around my mid section and you can't really see my abs and thats what I want. I start workin a whole new province in 3 weeks and I don't want to feal imberesssed about jumpin in the hot tub with other people if you know what I mean ;). I'm not even pudgy or fat. I have an average body probably but I "FEAL" pudgy and I want to be cut and toned.
My fitness instructor told me at my gym if I loose anymore thien 2 lbs per week my body will go into starvation mode and whatever calories I consume will be stored as fat and doing this weight loss thing will have an oppisit effect on me. Is this true ?

I'm wondering if anyone has tips on how to loose the weight faster perhaps and build up ab muscles like the fastest way to put thoughs ab muscles on. I'v been working out at the gym the past 3 months now so i'm sure I have some its a matter of getting the pudge off. Also I have a bit of love handle action (just a tad) I wanna get ride of..

Well i'll try and do around 2lbs a week thein thats fine with me but I wanna good excersise wich REALLY kills the abs and brings em up fast as possible plus somethin to get rid of the bit of luv handle action. And im just moer or less curious if im doing the right thing to loose the weight. I'd say I am but I just want some feed back.
 
I did an extreme diet awhile back that allowed me to cut close to 25 pounds in 4 weeks without a loss in muscle. It's called The Velocity Diet. Head over to www.t-nation.com and use the search button to check it out. It's only meant for a 30 day period and no longer.

Also, www.bodyrecomposition.com has some excellent nutrition and dieting advice.

There aren't any magical ab exercises. Just pick a few a week and work them like you do any muscle group.

I found that diet and what not and checked it out. I won't need a hardcore diet like that seeing how I don't wanna loose more thien probably around 6lbs. I'm just curious if i'm going about it right (first post).
 
6'' 175 lbs sounds good to me...I am 6' 3'' 213 large frame.

I don't think you need to overwork yourself like it sounds like what you are doing, if you do that much excerscise, then you would want to eat more, so that...exactly what your fitness guy said, you wont gain fat.
 
Is it possible to get a diet plan, customized to your cardio efforts so that you won't burn more than you eat?
