Bluking + HIIT = fat loss + Muslce?

I'm 6'1 - 6'2, 150 lbs, I've been thinking of bluking for the month of oct + nov, but I'm not really digging the fact that I'll have to live with the remainder of fat I need to loose durring this time, so I was thinking of adding some HIIT and taking some glutamine, so that way I can loose the fat, keep + gain muslce.
Sound like a good idea?

Also, when would be the best time to do HIIT? 1st thing in the mourning wont be possible, will anytime on off days do? How long should I do it?
 
20min, i wouldn't waste my money on glutamine. You pretty lite thou dude i also wouldn't worry about gaining a few pounds while bulking.
 
The distribution of fat is what is annoying, I just want to be rid of it. I probably wont do HIIT during all the months I'm planning to bulk. If I gain some lbs back after the initial fat loss that's fine, at least it will be evenly proportioned.

But 20 mins sounds good to me. Should I do hiit only on off/recovery days? Does it matter what time of day I do it?
I have a 400 foot ring in my back yard I run, I was thinking of doing 3 laps walking, then 5 laps vigorous running. Will that be considered hiit?
 
Most people seem to base it on minutes. IE 1 minute sprint and 1minute walk or 30sec intervals. Anytime of the day should be fine and off days.
