Blowing my horn - 4th week completed

Hi Everyone,:)

I've just finished my fourth week of my new healthy lifestyle and I'm pleased to report it really is working.

I've been running on the treadmill 3/4 times a week for on average 45 minutes and today I thought it was about time I ventured outside to see if I could do the same. Many people say that treadmill running is a lot easier and isn't the same as running outside. So.... Today in the pouring rain I managed to run for 60 minutes and completed a 10k run:D I'm really pleased with myself as four weeks ago I was struggling to complete 20 minutes on the treadmill.
I've also weighed myself. Starting weight 167.2lbs, weight today 158.4lbs and my measurements are:
Measurments
Waist was 35, now 33
Bust 38.5, now 36.5
Thigh 24.5, now 23.8
Hips 41, now 40

Sorry to bang on about it but I feel really pleased with my results so far. I have a long way to go and hope that in another 4 weeks my results are even better.

Yes am weight training 3 times a week using 5/8/10lb free weights. I subscribed to shape magazine which had a free 4 week food journal, cardio and weight programme. This really helped to get me kick started.
