I am new to this site. I am a 32f mother of 2 beautiful daughters. I am desperate to loose weight and I am determined to do it the right way and not go the easy route of surgery. This is sort of a last attempt before pondering the gastric bypass surgery. I have always struggled with my weight. At 5 years old I was the cute little chubby kid. I thinned out some as I got older and after high school I struggled to maintain a good weight. I met the man of my dreams 5 years ago and we married.At that time I was around 175 pounds. I became pg with my first daughter and had to go on bedrest. I put on a good bit of wt and I think I was around 275 when she was born. Two years later I became pg with my second daughter and by that time I was still hovering around 250 pounds. I again had a very hard pg and had to be hospitalized several times with toxemia. After her birth I was right at 300 pounds. I have not lost any of the weight and my daughters are 3 and 5 now. I have terrible problems with swelling in my feet and legs and back pain from being so overweight. I also become very short of breath with much excertion. I dont know where to begin or what to do. What can I do to start the weight loss process?I cant do much excercising or mvmt because of the shortness of breath and inability to move. I know that cutting back eating is a must and also that too drastic a cutback will cause my body to store fat. SO where do I start? Any recommendations?????
