Isolation - Standing Straight Bar BB curl. I usually do 3 heavy sets after my back workout. To take advantage of the chins and rows use an underhand grip.

right on

I was gonna saw the same exercise newf, thats my favie for building arms.

However, one thing I learned about arms is that they can't be treated like a peripheral mucle. Meaning, you hit out some sets after a workout. I find it people get the best results when they treat their arms like a workout themselves. So either set aside a day for them (yea RIGHT!) or be prepared to do some high volume to bulk.

Do it with Newf's exercise. Stand inside of a power rack (squat rack) and unrack the bell. CLench your abs and butt cheeks together, let shoulders hunch forward just a tiny bit. Now, with a weight you can probably lift about 20 times grind the bar up with everymuscle you can clench. WHen you get to the top, flex your triceps and slowly pull it down. Come down and rest the bar on the squat rack pins. (meaning you could let go). Now after 2 seconds of "rest" grab it and pull it up again the same way. Do 5 reps and rest for 1 minute. Add on more weight so you could do about 15 reps and hit out another 5 reps. Rest a minute and add on more weight so you couldprobably only do 10 reps. Hit out 5 reps and rest a minute. Now add weight one more time and do the reps. After a minute start to unload the bar in the same fashion you loaded it. Exept you are going to be doing reps. So unload the bar a little bit, do 5 reps, rest a minute and so on until you are at the weight you started with.

Do this twice a week for 4-5 weeks and rest for a week. Then cut the sleeves off your shirts.

I agree its best to have an arm day. I did have one for 6 weeks so now i'm concentrating on different workouts. So it probably wasn't the best advice.

Some good advice;

Don't take everything you read has gospel :)
