About two months ago, while serving in tennis, I felt that I over stretched my bicep. I though nothing of it and continued playing and played a few days after that with a sore bicep.
However, even after not lifting or using my arm for 3 weeks, I still cannot pull at more that 80% without feeling a niggling in the lower bicep that I know would be painful if I moved nearer to 100% weight. And the next day, I can feel it when lifting things like my back pack.
I guess it's tendonitis as there wasn't one moment that the pain appeared, I just noticed it all of a sudden and it was definitely from the extension of my arm.
Any ideas as to what it is?
Is there any point in doing lifts that don't involved biceps i.e. leg machines, bench and military press?
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks
