better way for bicept growth..

I guess I understand what you're saying, but it's just a matter of what you care about.

Very true.

Everyone has different priorities.

I like to be in proportion, but I admit I like to have big arms. Have you ever heard someone say "wow did you see that guy's glutes? He's huge"

Again, different priorities for different people.

Some people who have trained hard to get in shape - and as a consequence - develop impressive physiques, and enjoy showing them off in public. And these people might even dress in a manner that draws attention to their physiques - i.e arms.

Some others, on the other hand, with similar amazing physiques, couldn't care less if people notice or not.:)

Main reason I want a bigger arm is my right arm has/had a blood clot, and as a result it's a good deal larger, by about 2-3cm all around. Ideally, I'd like to even out my upper body.
(My doc said it was okay to exercise)
Any suggestions for increasing the actual width of the muscle (that is to say, side to side. Not measured from the tricep up, but from one side of the bicep to the other)? I'm curious.

Wow, that's alot of replies and alot of info. Thanks for the responses.

yeah I've done a bit of research before I started, I wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my time working out. I know you want to do between 8-12 reps, and around 3-4 sets for hypertrophy.

And I do a few compound exercises in my workout, mostly DB punches, bent over rows, and squats. Sometimes push ups.

But I just have dumbbells and whne I do my curls was wondering whether it's more effective to do both arms at the same time in a barbell like motion, or one at a time, and take twice as long.
