I just copied this in from my intro so if you have seen it before and it looks familiar...that's cause it is!

Hi, My name is Beth and I am once again on the diet train! WOOHOOO!

Most of my life I a have been over weight until one day, rather than by a size 20 jeans cause my 18's wouldn't fit anymore, I went to a clinic and lost a 100 pounds. I have never been so thin and felt so good about my self in all my life...I loved it!

That was 6 years ago. 2 years ago I got married a wonderful man who tells me I am beautiful every day and never makes me feel any less. Must be why I have gained back 50 pounds...he just keeps telling me I am beautiful! LOL

We are trying to have a baby and hope that will happen soon, but we have been trying since we got married. And so while I have been packing on the pounds, I have been thinking "oh, I will just go on a diet after the baby gets here". That line of thinking coupled with 24 months and no baby is most likely why I have packed on the pounds. So, even if I get pregnant tomorrow, I need not gain another pound today and it wouldn't hurt to lose a few (50?) before I get PG anyway.

So in a nut shell, that's why i am here. I want to lose some weight until I get PG (could be next month could be next year) and then once the baby is here, I want to get back to the weight that I was when I lost the first 100 pounds.

I am 31, I lift weights and do cardio 4-5 times a week and have for the last 6years...that is the one thing that I did not give up on even while I have been gaining weight. I don't eat all that bad, no fast food or anything, but I don't eat as healthy as I use to either. Seems like every day I am just one pound heavier and its getting a little discouraging. I don't want to buy bigger clothes...just want to fit into the ones that I have

Let's hope the WLF is what's been missing in your way to a lighter you, fitting clothes and the baby you're hoping for... We're a nice bunch of people so you'll fit in just fine! :)

Need some advise

I am about to leave for the weekend with my husband on our anniversary weekend :rotflmao: I thought that I would post some issues that I am having and see if I got any advise over the weekend to help me start my week.

I have been on a diet for the last month now and have only lost 2 pounds. I am keeping my calories between 1200-1400 a day. I drink 80-100 OZ of water, Use a tread climber (tread mill and step climber in one at the same time) for an hour on Monday and Wednesday, use a Bowflex resistance weight lifting for an hour and the tread climber for 30 minutes on Tuesday and Thursday, do as little as possible on Friday as a rest day, and then am very active with my Husband and kids on the weekend. We bike ride, walk, clean lots of house, garden, that sort of thing. What am I doing wrong here?

Typical eating day for me is Protein shake and 1/2 banana for breakfast, apple for morning snack, meat and salad for lunch, V8 and 60 calorie yogurt for afternoon snack, protein shake and 1/2 banana for dinner. Cheats that seem to make it into my day sometimes are a protein bar, or 2 tablespoons of peanut butter with my apple, or air popped popcorn (no butter, use spray butter pam) after my work out with my husband. I assumed that with my workouts these little every once and a while cheats were no big deal. I need to lose some weight, I am very uncomfortable and need something to give my body a boost!!
 
Hm, so no advice huh :confused: ...guess I am doomed!! LOL Not really, just have to work hard at it on my own. Had a great weekend this weekend on my anniversary. We got married on the beach so that is where spent the weekend. I am very proud of myself, I didn't drink a lot, eat a lot, and we walked tons! So, with what I did have, I didn't lose any weight, but I didn't gain any either...so score one for Beth! :jump: Now I just have to try and lose a pound or two this week and not gain any over the 5 day trip we are about to take with the kids in our travel trailer. We are going to a state park and meals will be mostly BBQ and salads. Lots of hiking and biking and swimming with the kids. So it should be a pretty good trip all in all weight wise :rolleyes: SOOOOOO....first day of posting weight.....I am 187.6 and am trying to get down to 145-155. Because I am so fit and well proportioned, 155 actually looks pretty good on me...but 145 looks nicer! :cool:
 
glad you had a nice anniversary weekend... a weekend at the beach sounds wonderful... a weekend away not gainingis always a good thing - congrats :D

u seem to know how to do the deed, its just stepping up the workouts and getting it done :D

Thanks guys! :hug2: Its nice to know someone is paying attention to my rambling here :) Even if no one is, its nice just to get my thoughts out of my head.

I seem to be stuck at 187.6...I need a boost to get my body in the losing mode! Its very discouraging but I am still going to stay possitive.
 
Haven't posted in a while

Because I am so busy with my new diet! I have lost 5 pounds so far and I am sooooooooo happy. Scale is finally moving for me and I am pumped and ready to keep going!!
 
Another 2 pounds gone!

Another 2 pounds gone! Forever I hope! Diet is going well, just slower than I would like, but my dietician says thats because I ate and exercised before I started, so my body is not in any real shock. She says to look at the over all picture, in 3 weeks I have lost 8 pounds! Thats great!! I am so happy to see the scale move. And, I have a friend doing the diet with me so its nice to have someone to talk to about it. She was 210 and has lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks and that with having a set back last weekend and gaining 3 pounds. Anyway, just wanted to post something possitive out here :)
 
Haven't posted in a while....

Thought I would come in and post my progress in case any one cares lol Plus, its just nice to say out loud....I HAVE LOST 19.5 POUNDS!! Since May 29th that is :rolleyes: I couldn't be happier and in 4.5 more pounds, I will be half way there :rotflmao:

Craving a Mango Margarita from Papasitos though...if I lose another pound this week..I may splurge on one lol
