best workout & gym trax for my ipod?

... I need new music: mostly for running but also for a full gym workout...

I need some suggestions as I'm tired of listening to the same old stuff.

I tend to buy stuff on itunes, not really wanting to mess my computer with the pirate programs.......

Sneaky sound system - goodbye, i love it
Da Rude - Sandstorm, feel the beat, next to you
Scooter - nessaja, neverending story, jumping all over the world
Reveille - what you got
black flood diesel - fountain of youth
papa roach - getting away with murder

collective souls - she likes me for me
Vandalism - smash disco

There ya go.

Yeaaaa ^^ Bit of prodigy does some good :)

Iv got a lot of underground bassline tunes which are perfect for working out to.

Everyone's different, so I'm sure somebody will disagree, but I've really gotten into the Foo Fighters lately. Can't explain why, but it's hit pretty hard the past couple of weeks.

That's pretty much I've been using lately. Definitely a lot of Foo.

Workout times is when almost anyone can stand heavy heavy metal.

The Top 40 is ok when singing in the car, but if you're jamming out to Kelly Clarkson while exercising, then somethings wrong.

I got an idea.....

I just mailed Phate a CD of some of the stuff I listen to. I propose an exchange system: a CD for a CD.

If you mail me a CD of your favorite workout/cardio music, I'll mail you a CD of mine. Simple as that.

Nothing from Kelly Clarkson counts!

if you're using itunes....

yeah I agree, it's just a lot easier to download from itunes then mess around with other stuff.....
If you're looking for workout/gym music on itunes, I highly recommend you start here:

....... if that link doesn't work, u could try this one ......
or try seaching itunes for "euro club hits" -- it's the one with the logo and the different colors in back .... cheers

Am I the only one who doesn't listen to music while working out? I usually think about stuff. It's a great time to make those hard decisions in life. Things like, "Will I wear brown or blue tomorrow?" Without proper exercise, I would be at lost with these things. ;)

No, you're not alone. I knew some deaf guy and he never listened to anything either! ;)

A reputable trainer insist that listening to good music while working-out has been clinically proven to impart as much as a 30% reduction in perceived exertion to the listener. I'm not sure if it's really that high, but I will say that when a crankin' tune comes on while I'm biking, swimming or doing cardio, I'll often kick it up a notch and not really feel or mind it.

Besides, some of my biking last about 3 hours, it's tough to do without music. And I also agree with Dallen...it's nice to have reflective time to think about stuff....but I find my thoughts flow just fine with some good tunes in the background. It can be very theraputic! :D

for gym music and workout music, I recommend european dance music.......

it's ALWAYS the best motivational tool for me...

.....and you don't have to tell anyone at the office if u just listen to it on the mp3 player at the gym ;) ....

.... here's a compilation series on itunes that I recommend:

How about...

Twinkle twinkle little star,
How i wonder what you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.

X2
