While I agree with some of your tips - I strongly disagree with some of them.

p16 "Go nuts with nuts. Eating a handful of nuts will help you stay full."
While some people will opt for a small handful and will be satisfied by the protein content - other people will take a much larger handful and have a lot of calories... I can eat a very large amount of calories in nuts in less than a minute...

p17 "no... fried food of any kind", "forget about frying your fish, poultry or other cuts of lean meat"
Stir frying can be a very healthy and low calorie way of preparing food. Simply use an oil spray like "fry light" and thus use a very small amount of oil. Then water can be added while stir frying.
In fact such meals as fish and chips can be healthy. If you buy shop fried fish - you can break the batter off and discard it. The batter traps the fat and means that the fish inside the batter is healthy and not fattening. Then you make your own chips by pealing potatoes and partly boiling - then drain and shake before cutting into wedges and laying on a baking tray which is sprayed with fry light and baking in the oven.

p18 "avoid egg yolk at all costs"
I don't think that this is strictly necessary - I lost a heck of a lot of weight and never avoided an egg yolk yet... if I ate egg white I happily ate the yolk...

p18 "skip the fasting"
I actually know people who have used Intermittent Fasting and been happy with the way it went... They have however researched the subject carefully and ensured that they were hitting their nutritional targets with the food that they did eat. They have done it in a fully planned manner. The body does not go into starvation mode nearly as quickly as your statement implies.

p20 "Eat as soon after you get up as possible"
While eating triggers the metabolism - there are other ways to trigger the metabolism too. Exercise is one such method...

p21 "Avoid eating at night at all costs"
There is nothing wrong with eating at night. It is total calories that counts. The time of day has no impact. Some people control their total calories better is they make a little rule that says "no eating after 6pm" but there is no reason for that at all. If you can control your calories just fine - there is nothing to stop you having a meal at midnight.

p21 "order children's portions at restaurants"
While you can do this if it satisfies you - there is no reason to say that you should. It would never satisfy me and would probably lead to me wanting more food as soon as I left the restaurant which may not be as healthy.

p25 "Stop the evening eating. You don't want to eat and then go to sleep. All those calories sit there unused while you sleep"
Weight loss does not work like the fairytale "Cinderella"... There isnt any sort of magic change that happens at midnight... If you take in calories and do not use them that day then you can use them the next day... It is total calories in during the whole day and night vs total calories burnt during the whole day and night.
