Best fitness DVD?

Hi guys,

I was reading a blog post at Link removed and although the Tracey Anderson DVD looks fantastic for women I'm not sure it's meant for men.

So my first question, are the Tracey Anderson DVDs suitable for men? The second one is, which fitness DVDs would you recommend? The guy in that blog post doesn't seem to know and no ones responded in his comments section.

Thanks!

I heard that the "biggest loser" workout DVDs are great. Im doing the "Jillian Micheals 30 day shred" video right now, and although she is working out with 2 other woman, men can do it as well. It has 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio and a minute of abs.

You do 3 circuts of it, the video has 3 different levels, starting at level one and making your way up (gradually gets more intense) and its been makin me sweat lol

I like the Walk Away the Pounds series. I also like kick boxing, although I can't think of a video to recommend right now. I've heard the Tae Bo ones are good but I haven't tried yet.

Kind of depends on your own personal style though. Some people might hate kick boxing and love walking. Others may want aerobics. I personally find kick boxing very engaging but YMMV.

I recommend Turbo Jam from Beachbody/Milliondollarbody. It's cardio based and a combination of dance/martial arts moves and it's so easy to pick up. I've tried several of Beachbody's workouts, including Slim in 6 and Power 90 but those got pretty repetitive and I lost interest quickly. P90 was also somewhat challenging for an exercise noob :newbie: like me. Granted, I'm the most coordination challenged person in the world but Turbo Jam is just...FUN. :) And you HURT the next day..lol.

And yes, it's been very favorably reviewed by both men and women :)

I'm with Chantelle - TURBO JAM - it's fun fast and really gets you sweating.

I've been using Turbo Jam instead of using cardio machines at the gym - time flies and I really get a work out!

It's good for both men and women -

I have the original turbo jam (I got it from a As Seen On TV Store) - the newer is basically the same but they add weighted gloves to the workout - but you can add your own to any work out. If you are thinking of getting ANYwork out video though I recommend Ebay to buy it - you'll save ALOT - so if you don't like it - as least it wasn't a small fortune.
