Belly Sweats-work?

I recently purchased a neoprene belly-wrap (Waist-Away) in order to hopefully target my fat-loss around my mid-section.
Ive seen neck-sweats work on horses, so I assume the same principals apply to humans.

Has anyone ever used these types of products before? Any success?

it will make you sweat. you will lose water weight and possibly dehydrate yourself.

i strongly doubt it will lead to fat loss..

Exactly what mal said. There is a difference between "weight-loss" and "weight-cutting" I know people that fight professionally that can lose 10-20 lbs in a day by sweating and dehydrating themselves but that is not fat loss. It is just water and you will regain it all when you re-hydrate you will gain it back. With summer upon us I have seen lots of articles and threads about sweat and weight loss. There is no real correlation.

Hmm, I assumed the cover would increase the temperature of the target areas, thus stimulating more blood flow to said areas, and thought maybe that would help. Nevermind then.
Thanks for your help!
