belly/chest fat

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have a couple of questions. The problem that I have is that I have very little fat around my arms, legs, or other parts. In fact my arms and legs are very low in fat. The part that is plaguing me is I have a bit of chest and belly fat. It is not an extreme amount but since my legs and arms are so thin it makes it look worse than it is. I was wondering if I could get some tips on how to get rid of this. I know cardio is a must but I was wondering since I have little fat in other areas the cardio would get rid of the belly and chest fat first.

ok so how old r u and i'm taking(i hope i'm right) that your male? cardio and a clean diet will lose the fat weights will put some size to your arms and legs to even out how you look. thats about all i can say with such little info. hope it helps some.

I think its just genes that deduce where your fat builds up (for example I have barely any chest fat). Ab workouts will give you more ab muscle but, like everyone says, you can't spot reduce it. You'll end up with very thin arms but just do weight training to sort that out. Just do something that makes you out of breath

Proper nutrition and cardiovascular exercise is necessary. A combination of diet, cardio and strength training exercises will help kick-start your body to lose that belly fat.

Avoid excess sugar, sodium and processed foods. These activate the insulin in your body and turn into fat. The fat may end up round your tummy.

On the other hand complex carbohydrates such as yams and brown rice as well as fibre rich foods and fibre rich leafy vegetables help give you energy to do cardiovascular and abdominal exercises. They also have very few calories.

You have to make a plan of overall weight reduction. There are no "spot reduction" exercises or diets that can "melt away" fat from your tummy or specific parts of your body.

All the best.

Cathy.
