I am 19 years old with height around 5"5 inch (165cm) and weight of 82 kg (180lbs). I want to loose around 10-15kg. I have started exercising 2 days back. Came to this site and saw the before and after pictures and was highly motivated to loose weight. I used to go to the gym around 6 months back but didn't like it.
So now I exercise at home which includes jogging/walking 30mins , then later warmup exercise for 10mins, situps 3sets of 15 each, bench press 3 sets of 10, dumbbell(20kg) 3sets of 10. please advice me if u have any other good exercise.

Also after 2days of exercising my arms, thighs are aching. So went only for jogging today (though it was difficult) no weights. Wanted to know whether i should rest for some days or just continue with the pain.

Besides i also started counting my calories intake. Here's my diet though its not that great. Please comment on any necessary changes.

No cause i drink tea in a mug not a cup (really like it) so increase in sugar hence 170 cals....how long do u think it should take me to loose 10kg with a workout like this?

Thats a lot of sugar in a mug of tea! If you watch your calories and do some exercise you should be able to lose 10 kg in 3-4 months, I'd say. Good luck!

Hey welcome
Why dont you start diary?
It s really useful to log your food/excercize/moods.
Good luck! :hurray:

Start a diary, you will get more replies!

You could have more to eat if you would drink tea with no calories or drink water. If the food from the restaurant is healthy food. Have a bounce portion of the restaurant food, won't hurt you, just make sure you don't go over the calories you need to lose weight. Most of your daily calorie intake is tea, you need to eat a bounce meal. Just cut out the junk, but eat healthy.

Thanks for the replies guys :hurray: . Will surely start the diary. Regarding the restaurant food it is generally pork, chicken and fried rice...don't know if that is healthy

Also wanted to know if it is bad if my calorie intake is lower then the required level and why...
