Hi to all, and am I thankful I found this place, were I can relate to everyonee :)
so today I'm just going to state my goals and milestones, and give some info about myself.
-Name: Sarah
-Job: I'm a student in college, if you can call that a job??
-Age: 18 yrs, I hope I can gain some wisdom from the more experienced people :)
-Height: 5ft 5in
-Current weight : 79.4 kg/12st 7 lbs/174.7 lbs :(
-Ideal/goal weight (OH YES I WILL GET THERE SOON!): 59.1 kg/9st 4 lbs/130 lbs :driving:
-Date to be achieved by: 1/10/2009 :D

As you can see that seems like a mountain! But I am determined, and hope to get even more motivated from you guys!

Milestones:
(under 12 stones)
-75.8kg/11st 13 lbs/167 lbs

(under 11 st 7 lbs)
-72.1kg/11st 5 lbs/159 lbs

(under 11 stones)
-69.4kg/10 st 13 lbs/153 lbs

(10st 7 lbs - wow, I have NEVER been this weight)
- 66.7kg/10st 7 lbs/147 lbs

(under 10 stones.....sooon! very soon :))
-63.1kg/9 st 13lbs/139 lbs

(getting closer....)
-60.3kg/9st 7 lbs/133 lbs

(last milestone :D)
-59.1kg/9st 4lbs/130 lbs

wahaaaayyyyyyy! well im kind of excited to get started, fight this fat ugly person I see in the mirror, and gradually see the REAL me appearing!
I've read some stories and, im one of these girls who has an alright face (average I would say unfortunately!) but as soon as people (guys) look at my fat body, with no shape whasoever (maybe a pear?) they dont take a second look, this has hit HARD on my confidence since forever :'(
but no more, I will be who I want to be, and CONFIDENT :)

Gym tomorrow, with a friend (Im hoping it will do me good, although shes so slim and sighhh if only, I will be one day is what I keep telling myself)

so today was my first day...
this is what I ate, under 1200 cals :D

Breakfast:
homemade banana and skim milk smoothie

Lunch: 1/2 tin baked beans, 3 fish fingers, 1 slice wholemeal bread,
1 large apple, slice of watermelon

snack: bunch of grapes

dinner: same as lunch (minus the bread)

consumed 1.5 litres of water.

Hit the cross trainer for an hour -307 cals :)

feeling pretty hopeful :D
 
Hi there. I'm also young (19 and just home from my first year of college), and we also have about the same goal weight.

This is definitely achievable, and you have definitely come to the right place for support and encouragement. WLF served as the backbone to my weight loss a few years back, and when I am posting regularly here is when I'm making the most progress.

Good luck with everything, and I hope that the your trip to the gym will/did go well! :)

I'll be back to read up on you some more!

by the way you look fab the way you are now, imagine what you'll look like after :O
yeh im glad that i found this place, alot of useful stickies, posts and support :)
Thanks for your support, today i couldnt post because i was really busy, and also i fell off the wagon, and its only day 2!
I need more will power eekkk, but im glad that I completed my 1 hour on the treadmill :D
Anyway, take care, shall keep you updated :)
 
I'm not surprised you fell off the wagon today - under 1200 calories is not nearly enough food for you at your height and weight. You shoudl probably be eating around 1700 or 1800 calories in order to be healthy, especially if you're going to spend an hour a day on the treadmill.
