Hello People! I have been on this website for years battling at varying degrees with my flucuating weight. But now i feel like posting!:] I've never really been 'thin' but i seem to spend a year out of every three losing the weight ive put on in the past two years!. But in March this year i had the shocking revelation of being 177 lbs (12 st 7)( Due to going to uni and sleeping all day and drinking all night pretty much!). Since then i've lost 43 lbs and have another stone to lose to take me to my goal 120! I hope to lose this this by the end of this month!

I know my results arent as impressive as some of the amazing transformations i've seen in this thread but i wanted to post my before and current in the hope of conjuring the motivation to lose the last stone!

So i feel ashamed looking at these pictures:Age 20-5ft 4- 177lbs:








At 138





Now at 134 with 14 lbs to lose:]









Never Ever Again will i look anything like those first pictures!

What do you mean, Aren't impressive as others here.

The hell you say. Outstanding job young lady. Don't compare your accomplishments to others. You did a great job in dropping the weight and that's all that should matter.

I wish I had done like you and taken the initiative and done something about the weight I was gaining back when I was younger. Damage control in your 30s is a lot harder to do because a lot of the damage is actually permanent.

You look fabulous! Good luck with the last little bit to reach your goal!
 
Girl, you are absolutely gorgeous, don't let anyone tell you different! I'm so inspired by your accomplishment. :D

I'm the same height as you with a similar build (and at 180, back where you started) so it's fantastic to see how hard you have worked and how much you pulled off. Gives me hope for me. Bravo!!!!!!!!!! Care to tell us how you managed it, diet and exercise wise?
 
Low carbs , low calorie and eating less on days where i dont move much haha. I haven't got a strict regime and i dont count calories although am very conscious of making sure what i do eat is low calorie.

I actually have found that now i have got most the weight off , weight loss is more effective by just eating less than i usually would ( rather than when i was eating a bit more and excercising)
Had a disspointing week last week and put on several pounds due to a week of excessive alcohol drinking and unhealthy eating:]

So im now at 132 but im still pleased im gettin closer to that 120 WAHOO!
 
Your looking good :), definately a big difference in the before/now pics. Well done :)

I've tried counting calories and it just stressed me out lol!
 
You look amazing! Great job. I am at where you were starting to its great to see someone who's been successful with the type of weight loss I would like to achieve.

You are such a pretty girl, I'm jealous. Keep up the great work! :)

I started out similarly to you - same height and around the same weight. Hope I can get to where you are!!
 
You are a very beautiful girl and it's awesome that you are keeping the weight off! I just started off on this website and am trying to see what everyone's routine is...very tough to completely change my lifestyle. Congrats though, you look great!

Ive made slow progress as i have just gone back to uni and exessive drinking is pretty much obligitory but i aim to be in the 120's by friday

Are you kidding? You've done a fantastic job! In your 138 pic you like a bit like Amber Tamblyn off Joan of Arcadia.
 
Little Update: I cant believe i ever looked this hurrendous. Isn't it crazy how you can look in the mirror and see something completely different to what everyone else sees? Okay i have 8 lbs to go. Im gonna lose 9 and then spend the next day eating anything i want! Like doughnuts and lots of beers haha
