Before and In-Between. 300-195 (UPDATE!)

Here's me before my weight loss (YUCK!):
(Sorry but this is all the stuff I have from before.)

That's at 300 lbs.

This is me at 215:

EDIT: Here's a higher quality before one for you guys. Just found this.

Thanks! ^_^
My self confidence has shot up, but my goal weight is still 180-ish.
I get looks in public all the time, from girls. Guys too -- but let's not get into that.
I think I can find more before pictures if I dig through my database of e-mails.
Guess I just wanted to serve as inspiration for people. 85 pounds is a lot. :O

OMG! you look amazing! the difference between the before and after pic looks like two different people! great work...it lets me know that i can do this if i keep trying. all the best as you continue to your goal weight. xoxo

Thanks! ^_^

Nice job man.
I'm in the same boat you were in almost, started at 274, now 264... got a long way to go.
What did you do?
I'd say get a hair cut and some contacts and the ladies will be all over you =)
(no offense, just the mop hair was never my style)

Haha, no offense taken, I'm about to get a haircut actually. :p
I do like my glasses, but they make me look nerdy.
To lose the first 50-ish pounds it was a lifestyle adjustment incorporating walking every day.
I moved across the street from a mall and I was over there every day.
This was a slow weight loss over a year and a half. (This is because I still ate a LOT, but the walking helped to gradually lose weight.)
In the last few months I've kicked it into high gear by changing my diet to a recommended intake of calories for weight loss, and started exercising a lot more.
So I've lost a lot more in the last few months, and I want to get to around 180 by September-ish.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. :O
I wish my family was like that.
They all say: "Oh my God you're starving yourself!"
"You're gonna get sick!"

Very cool, sounds like you did it the right way, which is what I'm trying to do. Life style change, not a diet. How did you get to 300 to begin with? I guess its kind of profiling you, but my guess is the computer. Thats what killed me, since jr high in fact. I'm trying to still incorporate my like for computers/games in with my healthy eating/exercise, otherwise I would just not be me.
Taking in the recommended intake is not starving yourself, to be honest it sounds like they may be a little jealous of you, if they are also overweight.
How tall are you?

Yeah, they are all overweight, and I've considered jealousy.
Getting to 300 would be video games and overeating.
I think back to what I used to eat, and am disgusted.
For example, I'd stay up until 2AM to watch CSI, and have an entire thing of Popcorn melted with tons of butter ontop. Ewwww.
Now I have the smartpop with 100 calories in each bag.
Tallness, I'm 6'4".
If you want to incorporate games into your new lifestyle, try something like Dance Dance Revolution or Wii fit. They always help.
Sometimes I just feel like walking so I do rounds in the house while the TV is on, or leave some chat windows open and say something every 10-15 minutes to friends.

At 6'4" are you sure you want to get all the way down to 180? To be honest you seem to look fine at 215, are you still not happy with what you see in the mirror? If I where you I wouldn't be focusing on weight, but with what you see.

I have been thinking of a wii fit, just havnt gotten one yet.

Well it was just an estimation, I want to lose some of the fat I have on my stomach and legs, mostly. I'm sure that'll be gone around the 200 pound mark.

im in the same boat, im 5' 9" at 310 and want to get to 200 then gradually to 180. do you have any loose skin?

how long did it take you?

I don't have any loose skin, no.
That's because the initial weight loss was really slow and gradual, leaving my skin time to adjust.
At least, I think that's why.

Wow, you're a little cutie :D

Congrats on your weight loss! You're very inspirational.

Well jeeze. *blushes*
Thanks!
