I have about 44lb left to lose and lately my weight loss has been slowing up - I've had no difference in the last 2 weeks and I hit a plateau previously and that time I went about 3 months with no difference and just maintaining now I'm concerned that I will stop again and not be able to motivate myself to workout enough and eat all the right things :/

Hey, i've been there before!!! Let me tell you, from experiance. If you let yourself quit eating the good stuff....you're just gonna gain your weight back!! You've come too far to turn back now! Remember, you should be eating in such a way that you can do it everyday.

I'm 230lbs and I'm consuming between 1000 and 1200 cals...and when I'm down to 150 lbs, i'm still going to consume between 1000 and 1200 cals. Its the way i'll eat for the rest of my life.

Us "food addicts" have to "pick up our cross" everyday and face this. You look wonderful!! Keep it up!

Thanks Korrie! I'm semi-confident that I won't gain the weight back as when I plateaued I kinda went "Pffft, I'm not losing any weight I might as well eat kinda normally" and didn't gain any back which I'm so so glad about now that I'm back on the horse - my concern is that I will stop again and get content at this weight even though I'm technically obese... I just need to power on through!! :D

Are you doing much exercise? Adding exercise or increasing the intensity will help get you through a plateau. Also, the lower you get, the slower it generally comes off.

I just finished Jillian Michael's 30 day shred - though I turned it into 50 days doing 20 days level 1 & 2 and 10 of level 3.

I've just started one of her other workout videos, No More Trouble Zones. I have a weekly average calorie intake of about 1250 calories and I'm 5'2".

I was originally gunna do 60 day shred instead of 30 - but changed it to the 50 when the last 2 weeks I had no weight loss and decided I might need to mix up my excercise routine and 'No more trouble zones' is longer and with less cardio and I figured I would see how that would effect my weight loss - pretty much...
