Before and after! What went wrong:(:(

Hi,

Im new here but I need motivation!!!! I was 175lbs when I was about 14-15 and I lost 30lbs of it down to 140 lbs. Then got a boyfriend and gained the 30lbs back :(:( Now im having trouble leaving all the junk food, fast food, restaurants behind.
 
Same here! I was 150 for like 5 years, no problem. Dating casually. Got involved with my boyfriend and I'm 170 these days! I don't want to be super skinny, just not...jiggly.

I love junk food too, it's really hard. Good luck!
 
THX good luck to you too!! ive been eating good the past couple days and working out and ive lost 5 pounds!! :p:p....im at 165lbs!!
 
I have done the same....

Well you are not alone; I managed to come down to 137 and now have reached 160 in 7 months after our wedding; thinking back I feel it is that we start taking things for granted get comfortable and let go of everything that we worked so hard for..when I realized I had put on all this weight a few days I was really depressed; but I have decided to just let go of the depression and take charge and do something; slip ups happen all of us in this case have done this; the only thing to do now is to think how good you felt when you were down at your lowest weight and what would you do to get back there;

Lets do it gals.....we have done it before we can do it again....all it requires it some determination and consistency and the will to do it. We will and shall get there....

honestly eating right with nothing fattening!! lol...and don't eat after 6-7pm!!!!! thats the worse....n my weight goes up n down like ill be 165 then the next day ill be 168 lol...
 
aww darlin, i so hear ya!! i think its because one gets so comfortable once you have a bf it seems like you got what you were 'working' for and there is nothing that you have to change about yourself anymore because you have what you wanted..

you should do it for yourself... just a week ago i was so depressed cause i couldnt get any motivation!

now, i did that, i wrote down all the reasons why i should loose weight NOW and not tomorrow or somewhen, here is my list i copy and paste, so dont be offended when its somethin a little hard or strange lol

My motivation list:
Why do I wanna loose weight?

-to feel pretty, and sexy again
-to get rid of that competetive thinking all the time when i see pretty girls
-to stop unneccessary jealousy because it damages my relationship
-to be healthy
-to gain back confidence
-to buy the clothes that I want to, not the ones that I have to, so it covers up this and that, or it just looks stupid with rolls and fat
-to love myself more, so i am more satisfied in life and dont stress so much
-so i can enjoy life without always having the thought im not worth as much, because i weigh more
-because i know that if i dont start loosing weight now, i will be hating myself in half a year when i even got fatter, cause then its sommertime and i wanna have a fine body in a swimsuit

Yeh... I don't eat after 7 pm too... It's really hard not to eat after if other people around me eat around 8 pm and so (with their smelly food)..... But if I am really really really hungry.. I will allow myself to eat an apple or orange... better than every other food..
And if I haven't been eating healthy or less calories.. The last 3 days before my measurement I won't eat after 4 pm... still to get my goal... (1kg/ 2.2 pounds a week)

Mica022, looking at your pictures I can tell you are very attractive. A healthy and fit body would give you a lot of "power" in this world. Meaning you could have the attention of almost any man. If you have a good heart to go along with those attributes then what else is there for a man to look for? I guess no one ever knows how someone will turn out in the long run but I think you can afford to be a little more picky when choosing a boyfriend next time around. Almost every girl on this planet looks great when she is healthy and fit. You're young and beautiful, work on improving yourself in ALL areas and the possibilities are endless.

amelies mom, I like your reasons for losing weight / getting fit. If that is a picture of you in your avatar then you are very beautiful.

what do you do when you get hungry after 7pm?

honestly keep yourself busy!! read something (it really takes your mind somewhere else) or write (how you feeling at that moment and ask yourself is it worth it) or ya go to bed, at least you dont think bout food when ur sleeping..lol i admit it is hard ive slipped a couple times here and there, you just really have to want it!! (the weight loss lol)

Thank you for the list, it got me crying!! cuz its exactly how you feel and lots of times i think my bf likes the thin nice looking girls over me (i know all in my head cuz he loves me very much) and I remembered how I felt before (when i was 15 and fat, i lost 30 lbs cuz i was at the point where i was crying every night cuz i hated the way i looked) and its like I guess it makes me sad now cuz its so hard!!! its time to turn that sadness into anger and perseverance and determination!!!

Another thing that keeps my mind off things when i get hungry, MUSIC!! :)
