Before and a month 1/2 later..still loooots to go

Hi everyone!! I have been lurking on this site since about a month before I started my weight loss journey. Everyone has been such a great inspiration and mostly everyone is very positive. I am very glad I found this site!!
Anyways I am 25 (man where did the time go?!) and I am about 5'5". I used to be in decent shape before I graduated high school and it has been all down hill since then. After getting married..having a baby..everything just happens very quickly and before I knew it I weighed 234lbs (5/1/10). I made a goal to not only lose weight but to ultimately live a healthy lifestyle for good. Of course I am mostly doing this for myself but also for my marriage. I have become very insecure about my body and after 4 years of marriage I still feel uncomfortable walking around my husband is shorts (yes, even inside the house where no one else can see). He is currently deployed overseas and I want him to come home to a more confident and healthy wife. Sooooo...here are some before pictures and current pictures.


Starting weight- 234lbs
Current weight-209lbs
Goal weight-130lbs

The first and last picture are current. The second and third pictures are the "before"

Congratulations! You have done very well... Am sure you will be able to succeed as long as you maintain the determination and persistence.

@njoyabl- I have done a complete lifestyle change. I eat when I am hungry and stop when I am not. No more sodas (even diet ones) and I am trying to cut back completely on processed foods. It is really hard to go grocery shopping and find something that doesn't have a gazillion ingredients. That has been the hardest part. Other than that I am exercising like crazy!! I started doing 20 mins on the eliptical and now I push myself to 50 mins. One thing that I have found that keeps me going is I have downloaded music vidoes on to my iphone..watching some Beyonce and Britney Spears shake it keeps me going lol
 
Wow....You're doing great! That's a big change for only a month and a half. I suspect your hubby is going to be one happy man when he gets home..lol! Keep it up!

OMG Congrats girl!! Remember to celebrate and appreciate every milestone you achieve because little achievements lead to bigger ones!!

That is awesome! You should really feel proud of yourself. It only keeps getting better the closer you get to your goal. Good luck and again very nice job!!
