bed time snack

i ate supper around 3 hours ago and im hungry now and dont have any fruit in my house or veggies cuz i ate them all should i eat some jello which that wont really fill me up special k cereal with or without milk or a peanutbutter rice cake or leftover chicken i had for dinner

a really good thing to have at night is cottage cheese its got caesin(spelt it wrong i think) protein that helps stop catabolism

milk also has casein protein, but that won't satisfy your hunger.. most anything dairy will have some casein protein..

most dairy products have it but cottage cheese is the best.

and how can you not like cottage cheese? i eat a big bowl full of the stuff every night its so good!!!

i dont like the lil chunky stuff in it which is probably cheese. The only time i eat cheese is in a salad and maybe a grilled cheese but i havnt ate one of them forever.

bah i used to remember the name of those things, i think there called "curds" its the protein in there.

come on.... try it for me :p you'll start to love it.

What about cream cheese? Tastey, low calories (I believe...) low carbs, and I think that is what is in cottage cheese (don't worry, that's the same reason why I don't like cottage cheese, all the chunks remind me of regurgitation...not like you all needed to know that...:|).

cream cheese has well cream in it which is very high fat even the 33% reduced fat ones are still high in fat. if you cant stand the site of it, dont look at it, or try to mix it with something (thats something i would never do though cause i love it so much by its self), its just the casein is so good for you to have before going to sleep.

i'll try it AGAIN i guess lol...can u like maybe add anything in it so i could maybe start to like it better?? i hope you understand what i mean.

umm ive never really added anything to it my self cause i like the taste so much, but try to find that post by aevans410 about cottage cheese, there a really good site with stuff you can add to it to make it taste "better"

So if i go and search for that and find foods that have that i could eat them before i go to bed? Then that will be the kinda same as eating the cottage cheese or what?

yeah the only reason you want cottage cheese (besides the taste) is for the casein protein, it helps stop muscle catabolism, and helps keep your muscles growing over night.

lol thanks i think that will work sooo where can i get this whay or whatever protein powder one of you people said for me to get.

lol, its whey, um try a health foods store first, or a vitamin store, also i think wal-mart has them some times, not sure about the quality or age of those ones though.
